Job summary

Kings Hedges Education Federation is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a motivated team. The role supports the class teacher in developing teaching approaches and assisting children across year groups, with a 32.5 hour weekly schedule from 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday.

The contract is term-time only, fixed term ending 31st August 2027. Salary is £21,343 actual annual salary, with NJC grade 1 point 3 (£25,614 FTE) and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and a willingness to work in all year groups of the Federation is required.
• Fluent in standard English.

Responsibilities

• You will be a valuable member of the team working with the class teacher to support the children.
• You will also be part of the lunchtime team for ½ hour each day.
