Job summary

Great Heath Academy in the United Kingdom seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our primary team on a permanent basis. The role is 31 hours per week, term time only, with a salary of £17,868 - £18,149 per annum on the NJC scale 3-4.

The successful candidate will support pupils with learning, work with individuals, small groups and the whole class, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. DBS check will be required; interviews in w/c 12 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and children.
• Understanding of child development and how children learn.
• Experience assisting children on an individual basis, in small groups and in whole-class settings.
• Positive, proactive and able to relate well to staff, visitors and students.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
