Job summary

Teach is recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream and SEND schools in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. You will support pupils with learning activities, behaviour and routines, in a nurturing environment.

We welcome applicants with experience of working with children or young people with SEND, including autism, ADHD and complex learning needs, and we value reliability, patience and professionalism in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people with SEND is welcomed, particularly experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, communication and interaction needs or complex learning needs.
• We are looking for candidates who are reliable, patient and professional, with a genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on an individual basis, work with small groups or provide support across the classroom.
• Depending on the setting and the needs of the pupils, responsibilities may include supporting learning activities, encouraging positive behaviour, assisting with classroom routines and providing appropriate support to pupils with additional needs.
