Job summary

All Saints Academy Darfield is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The role involves supporting children on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom, ensuring the best outcomes for all students. Preference for candidates with experience across at least two key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2).

The position requires GCSE English and Maths and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A supportive school community and CPD opportunities are offered, with a 25.5-hour week over

• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Educated to NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline.
• Experience of working in a school setting with children.

Responsibilities

• Support children on a 1-1 basis and in small groups.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff to secure outcomes.
• Support pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour as needed.
