Coqfighter Ltd is hiring a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen in City of London. You will work closely with the Head Chef to keep service running smoothly, lead the team and uphold Coqfighter's high standards.

We value humble, hands-on leaders who can train and motivate others, manage stock and food safety, and stay calm under pressure during peak services. A competitive hourly salary is offered with tips and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef experience or Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Ability to lead by example and train/develop the kitchen team.
• Comfortable maintaining food safety, hygiene and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and help create a positive, supportive kitchen environment.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen during service and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare, cook and present food to Coqfighter's standards and specifications.
• Maintain quality, consistency and presentation throughout every service.
• Support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen running.
• Help train, develop and motivate the kitchen team.
• Keep the team organized and focused during busy services.
• Use initiative to solve problems and keep things moving.
