Job summary

St Columba’s College is seeking a skilled AV technician to provide lighting, sound, and AV support for the Expressive Arts faculty and a wide range of events during the 2026/27 academic year. The role is full-time, term-time with some additional days for rehearsals and events, and offers an attractive pay and benefits package.

Responsibilities include operating lighting desks and Digital/Analogue consoles, ensuring safe power distribution, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing stage lighting and using lighting desks.
• Experience with Digital/Analogue mixing consoles and understanding signal flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound, lighting and AV support for Expressive Arts events and College-wide activities.
• Manage stage lighting, lighting desks, and mixing consoles ensuring proper signal flow and power distribution.
• Attend inset days and additional rehearsals/out-of-term support as required.
