Job summary

IVC Evidensia's inspiring vet care in Scotland is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy 3-site practice with Tier 2 RCVS accreditation. You will deliver high-quality patient and client care across medical and surgical cases, work a 38-hour week over 4 days with a Monday–Friday shift and a 1 in 3 Saturday rota, and earn up to £60,000 DOE with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent clinical care for patients and support the wider team across a diverse caseload of medical and surgical cases.
• Contribute to a positive clinical culture and ongoing development of colleagues.
• Operate within a full-time, permanent rota: 38 hours per week over 4 days, with shifts 8:30am–8:00pm Mon–Thu and a 1 in 3 Saturday rota.
