Job summary

IVC Evidensia, via Mckenzie Vets in Alexandria, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a close-knit, supportive team. The practice offers a varied caseload with emphasis on clinical standards and case continuity, while encouraging CPD and professional development in a friendly environment.

You will work with four vets and a team of RVNs, SVN, and receptionists to deliver high-quality patient care and client service without out-of-hours. Flexible part-time options may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold veterinary degree and be registered or eligible with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
