Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the Cramlington area, starting ASAP and lasting into a long-term temporary arrangement.

The role supports pupils with SEND across KS1–KS2, requiring patience, adaptability and a collaborative approach to help every child achieve high standards. The position is paid weekly under PAYE with progressive pay schemes and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working across KS1–KS2.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Calm, approachable and student-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in KS1–KS2 with SEND provisions.
• Tailor learning activities to ensure all children can achieve.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to plan support.
• Maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment.
