Job summary

Yeo Moor Primary School in Clevedon is seeking a passionate SENCO to lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive. The role sits within the Senior Leadership Team and requires collaboration with families and external professionals to strengthen inclusive practice.

The post is part time (19.5 hours weekly) on a permanent basis, with a proposed start date January 2027.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and NASENCO (or willingness to complete within statutory timeframe)
• Experience with implementing strategies to support pupil behaviour
• Ability to work effectively as part of the Senior Leadership Team

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals to strengthen inclusive practice
• Support best-practice inclusion and improve outcomes for vulnerable learners
• Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to shape provision and policy
