Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term absences.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and keep pupils on task.
• Maintain a positive, orderly and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour according to school policies.
• Encourage pupil engagement and complete assigned work.
• Provide clear instructions and support pupils as needed.
• Monitor attendance, progress and behaviour during lessons.
• Report concerns to teaching staff or senior leaders.
• Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Support wider school team with classroom and learning duties.
