Academics Hull is seeking enthusiastic PE teachers to work across Bridlington and the East Riding in secondary schools. If you can energise your lessons, motivate pupils of varied abilities and make physical education something students look forward to, we'd love to hear from you.

We offer flexible day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent positions, with pay scale by the client. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent UK secondary PE experience are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Recent PE teaching experience in UK secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the UK PE curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage participation, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
• Adapting activities to suit different abilities, confidence levels and learning needs.
• Support pupils to develop practical skills, fitness and an understanding of healthy lifestyles.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where every pupil has the opportunity to participate and improve.
