Job summary

Humly North East is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Ashington on a full-time basis. The role starts ASAP and runs through to the end of the summer term.

You will supervise classes during short-term absences and deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups. You will maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies and provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress.

Qualifications

• A degree is essential.
• Strong classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour effectively.
• Confidence delivering lessons across a variety of subjects and age groups.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with the work set.
