You will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintain a positive learning environment and uphold high behaviour standards. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working in a secondary school (essential).
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain control of the classroom.
• Confident, calm and professional approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Reliable, flexible and committed to full-time work.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set work.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning.
• Following school behaviour policies and reporting incidents accurately.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Supporting the wider school team as required.
