Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe is seeking a 2nd line IT Service Desk Technician to join a busy IT department and provide reliable on-site support across multiple sites.

You will handle first and second line incidents, install equipment, support software and hardware, and work with staff at all levels. The role includes occasional evenings and weekend work and requires good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in first and second line IT support within a large organisation.
• Ability to install hardware and software, and troubleshoot across on-site and remote locations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support and troubleshooting.
• Install new equipment and technologies and maintain documentation.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to a wide range of users.
• Create and modify user accounts and escalate when required.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to resolve issues within SLA targets.
