Marchant Recruitment is seeking a passionate Science Teacher for a secondary school in Brentwood. The successful candidate will teach Science across Biology, Chemistry and Physics and contribute to a curriculum that develops investigative and practical skills.

You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress and support learners of varied abilities, while safeguarding and promoting inclusion. Experience or ECTs welcome; PGCE with QTS or equivalent required; legal right to work in the UK.

Formación

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS or equivalent).
• Strong science subject knowledge across key stages.
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics welcomed.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to student progress, inclusion and safeguarding.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the relevant key stages.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics content in line with curriculum requirements.
• Use practical demonstrations and investigations to strengthen understanding.
• Develop students' ability to analyse results, interpret evidence and explain scientific concepts.
• Assess progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt lessons to support students with different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain appropriate classroom routines and follow laboratory safety procedures.
• Work with colleagues to develop resources and improve curriculum delivery.
