Marchant Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for a secondary school in Brentwood. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and foster scientific curiosity in pupils.

The role involves careful planning, assessment and feedback, promoting safe practical work and contributing to departmental planning within a supportive educational community. Qualified teachers with QTS or PGCE are welcome, including experienced teachers and ECTs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach Science KS3 and KS4 across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics curricula.
• PGCE or QTS or equivalent qualification.
• Confidence in planning practical activities and maintaining laboratory safety.
• Strong classroom management, assessment and differentiation skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and assess lessons, monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
