Job summary

Chauncy School in Ware seeks a qualified Science Teacher to join a high-performing department. You will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3-KS5, prepare students for GCSE and A-level, and contribute to curriculum development while supporting SEN and EAL learners.

Qualifications

• Essential: QTS and a science-related honours degree.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable.
• Experience supporting students with SEN and EAL needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, supporting attainment.
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet diverse needs, including SEN/EAL.
• Use data tracking to monitor progress and drive targeted interventions.
• Lead enrichment activities and contribute to curriculum development within Science.
