Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or recognised UK credentials (PGCE/SCITT).
• Honours degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related science.
• Active DBS on the Update Service and up-to-date lab safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Teach general Science across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE Combined & Separate Sciences).
• Deliver A-Level Biology or Chemistry units for KS5 as per specialism.
• Plan, resource and run safe laboratory experiments per CLEAPSS guidelines.
• Assess and track pupil progress; prepare GCSE/A-Level classes for exams.
• Fulfill Form Tutor duties and support student wellbeing.
