Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced School Receptionist for a busy secondary school in Bury. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, staff and visitors, providing a friendly, efficient front-of-house service and supporting administration.

Previous experience in schools is essential, with hands-on use of MIS systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom). Immediate start available; competitive daily pay depending on experience.

• Experience in school administration or reception within an education setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the school’s main reception and greet visitors.
• Answer calls and direct enquiries professionally.
• Sign visitors in/out following safeguarding procedures.
• Support attendance and administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records using MIS and school systems.
• Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies.
