Prospero Teaching is seeking a reliable School-Based Receptionist in Bexleyheath to start immediately. You will be the first point of contact for staff, pupils and visitors, handling calls and enquiries with a calm, professional manner. Hours are 08:30–15:30, full-time, with pay £14.25–£16.68 per hour.

DBS clearance (or Update Service) and office experience are preferred, with ongoing support from Prospero Teaching throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• Previous office or administrative experience.
• Sims or Arbour expertise.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsabilités

• Managing incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.
• Supporting attendance monitoring and data entry.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks and filing.
• Providing excellent customer service to parents and external agencies.
• Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day office operations.
• Administering basic first aid when required.
