Job summary

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Respiratory Consultant to join our expanding team.

You will contribute to broad respiratory services including asthma, TB, ILD, and cancer diagnostics, and engage in bronchoscopy, pleural clinics and other interventional work. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, participate in education and research, and help shape future developments in our respiratory service within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration is required.
• Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, investigate and manage respiratory patients per Trust policies.
• Deliver Direct Clinical Care and participate in the on-call rota.
• Supervise and train junior doctors and allied professionals; contribute to education and governance.
• Contribute to teaching sessions for hospital and postgraduate staff.
