Job summary

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Fixed Term Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our expanding team.

You will work with the existing consultants and MDT to diagnose, investigate, treat and manage respiratory patients, including involvement in asthma, TB, ILD, and cancer diagnostics, with a view to develop services in line with your interests. Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with the General Medical Council.
• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Work with consultants and the MDT to provide high-quality care for patients.
• Deliver Direct Clinical Care across all parts of the Department.
• Maintain care for patients in charge and manage administrative duties over a 5-day week.
• Participate in on-call rota and ensure safe handover of care.
• Engage with staff across the department to meet objectives and improve patient experience.
• Support education, research, audit and governance activities with a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to teaching sessions for hospital, undergraduate and postgraduate staff.
