Job summary

Wayman Education is seeking a committed Religious Education Teacher to join a secondary school in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons on beliefs, ethics and philosophy, and help pupils develop critical thinking and written arguments.

This role offers a competitive daily rate (£160–£250) and requires QTS with RE or Humanities background. You will monitor progress, support personal development, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has a relevant RE, Theology or Humanities background.
• Strong subject knowledge and can explain complex concepts clearly.
• Inclusive classroom that encourages respectful debate.
• Effective planning, assessment and behaviour management.
• Committed to pupils' academic and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging lessons covering religious beliefs, practices, ethics and philosophical questions.
• Develop pupils' written arguments, critical thinking and evaluative skills.
• Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations and monitor their progress.
• Promote respectful discussion and contribute to the wider humanities curriculum.
