Marchant Recruitment is assisting an outstanding school in Sutton to recruit a thoughtful Religious Education Teacher to join the Humanities Department. The role covers KS3 and KS4, including GCSE, with a focus on developing discussion, exploring beliefs and building balanced arguments.

You will deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, provide feedback, and collaborate on curriculum planning. The school offers a supportive environment, ongoing professional development and a start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or related subject.
• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching RE at secondary level.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4.

Responsabilités

• Teach RE across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE.
• Develop students' understanding of religions, beliefs, ethics.
• Assess progress and provide feedback to support improvement.
• Foster respectful classroom discussions and critical thinking.
