Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is recruiting Primary Teachers for Chorley and surrounding areas. We welcome qualified teachers, including Early Career Teachers, to join our flexible pool for short-term, long-term or ongoing positions across a range of primary year groups.

The role typically runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm, with daily pay starting from £170. Opportunities are available on both full-time and part-time contracts, suit experienced teachers and ECTs seeking varied placements.

Qualifications

• QTS or currently completing teacher training (ECT)
• Passion for teaching and helping children reach potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, positive and resilient in the classroom
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• Experience with SEND desirable
• Ability to build relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• DBS via Update Service or willingness to apply (Axcis assists)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across primary year groups
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet learning needs
• Support pupils with a range of abilities including SEND
• Work with teaching assistants and school team
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt to meet needs
