Job summary

AMA Admin is partnering with welcoming primary schools in Bury, Greater Manchester, to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Teacher. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support children's academic and emotional development, and work closely with teaching assistants and staff.

We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs, with opportunities across term-time, full-time contracts. The role offers daily pay of £140–£200, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive education.
• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to differentiate lessons effectively.
• ECTs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
