Axcis Education Recruitment is recruiting Primary Teachers for Chorley and surrounding areas. We welcome qualified teachers, including Early Career Teachers, to join our flexible pool for short-term, long-term or ongoing positions across a range of primary year groups.

The role typically runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm, with daily pay starting from £170. Opportunities are available on both full-time and part-time contracts, suit experienced teachers and ECTs seeking varied placements.

Primary Teacher – Chorley and surrounding areas Starting from £170 per day | September start | Full-time and part-time opportunities

Axcis Education is currently recruiting Primary Teachers for schools in Chorley and the surrounding areas. We are looking for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers to join our growing pool of education professionals. This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers looking for their next teaching position, ECTs looking to begin their teaching career, or experienced teachers seeking flexible, long-term or short-term work within primary education.

The role includes:

• Full-time and part-time teaching opportunities
• Working hours typically between 8:30am and 4:00pm
• Teaching primary-aged pupils across a range of year groups
• Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including SEND, additional needs and complex needs
• Providing whole-class teaching as well as 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and the wider school team
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Supporting pupils to achieve positive educational and personal outcomes

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) currently completing your teacher training
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children to reach their full potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, positive and resilient approach to teaching
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Previous primary school teaching experience is desirable
• Experience working with SEND or additional needs is highly desirable
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. Axcis Education can support you through the DBS application process
• The ability to reliably commute to Chorley and surrounding areas
