Job summary

Hearsall Community Academy in Coventry is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team on a fixed-term basis, part-time 28 hours weekly during term time plus 5 days. The role is pro rata with a Grade 4 salary.

The successful candidate will have GCSEs in English and Maths, strong communication and safeguarding knowledge, and experience in a classroom setting with primary pupils. They will model excellent behaviour and work well independently and with colleagues.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Level 2) are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in a classroom setting with primary pupils is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes and support learning under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, well‑ordered environment and manage behaviour.
