Job summary

Brio Leisure Northgate in Chester is recruiting a Part-Time Sports Attendant. You’ll help with opening, setting up activities and facilities, and performing health and safety checks to keep the venue clean, safe and welcoming.

Working 17.25 hours per week with varied shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends, you’ll benefit from 25 days annual leave (30 after five years), free gym membership, staff discounts and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• A positive outlook and excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working with children and vulnerable persons ideally in a Leisure Centre environment.
• The ability to work within a rota on your own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Open, set up, inspect and lock all areas as per the facility programme and daily rota.
• Perform building checks and report accidents/defects per procedures.
• Provide high standard of customer care with a friendly, efficient service.
• Carry out cleaning duties including washing, sweeping, vacuuming and dusting of designated areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals correctly and store machinery per manufacturer instructions.
