Job summary

BCUHB in North Wales is recruiting a permanent full-time Community Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The post focuses on assessment and treatment of children and young people with disabilities in community and school settings, building skills under senior clinical specialists.

You will contribute to supervision, MDT working, and may participate in 7-day working and respiratory on-call as required; Welsh or English speakers welcome.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with HCPC registration and post-graduate CPD portfolio.
• Experience in NHS settings and MDT/multi-agency working beneficial.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and attendance at relevant courses.
• Ability to work across community settings including schools and nurseries.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and young people with disabilities in community/school settings.
• Manage own community caseload with support from senior staff.
• Supervise support staff and students within the department and contribute to MDT teams.
• Participate in 7 day working where indicated and respiratory on-call.
• Communicate effectively with families, schools and other agencies.
