Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in York is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure onsite equipment operates effectively. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, provide technical support for facilities, and perform maintenance routines. Candidates should have an Electrical Trades qualification and experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Electrical Trades qualification, mechanical experience would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar Multi-Skilled role, ideally within a Food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Participation as team member and willing to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Electrical and Mechanical issues on production lines.
• Repair electro-mechanical PLC-controlled equipment.
• Provide technical support for plant facilities.
• Perform Preventive & Predictive Maintenance routines.
• Monitor line and machine performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on new equipment installations.
