Job summary

Confidential in Mid Kent is seeking a Temporary Logistics Administrator to join a busy transport office supporting UK-wide deliveries. The role requires experience in similar positions, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to liaise with drivers and customers to keep deliveries on time.

Salary is £27,500 per year with standard hours (8am-5pm Mon-Thu, 8am-4pm Fri). Candidates must have own transport due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, ideally involving drivers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Be proactive and display initiative.
• Possess effective communication skills.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team that delivers throughout the UK.
• Assist with getting drivers on the road quickly and resolve issues promptly.
• Communicate with customers and drivers to resolve delivery timescales.
• Liaise with internal departments to proactively resolve challenges.
• Update customer portals.
• Undertake ad hoc projects or tasks as required.
