Job summary

Adaptable Recruitment is seeking an organised Logistics Coordinator for a fast-paced events logistics team in Liverpool. You will plan and manage transport, travel and accommodation, coordinate external providers and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The role requires knowledge of UK road haulage rules, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to handle budgets and last-minute changes in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport planning or a similar coordination role.
• Knowledge of UK road haulage legislation and transport compliance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solutions-focused approach and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating transport schedules and vehicle movements.
• Managing driver and fleet schedules, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Arranging accommodation, flights, trains, ferries and other travel requirements.
• Booking and managing external transport providers and couriers.
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitoring budgets and negotiating competitive rates with suppliers.
• Raising purchase orders and assisting with logistics administration.
• Responding to last-minute changes and operational challenges.
