Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join our client secondary schools in Grimsby. This role offers flexible day-to-day supply work or longer-term opportunities.

You will support teachers, help set up lessons, ensure classroom safety, and provide academic and behavioural support to students. DBS check required; friendly, proactive candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
• A passion for working with young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a school setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers wherever necessary when conducting lessons, including helping to set up at the start of the day.
• Helping to ensure that the classroom is safe at all times and facilitates student development.
• Providing academic and behavioural support to students to aid their progress.
• Providing valuable feedback to teachers about student progress.
