Job summary

The Brunts Academy is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support learning across a range of activities within a busy secondary school. The role focuses on delivering individual and small group support to help pupils access learning and reach their potential.

You will assist teachers, monitor pupil progress and support positive behaviour in classes, contributing to a safe and engaging learning environment. DBS checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• DBS checks required prior to appointment.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting pupils desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to teachers across a range of activities to promote development and learning.
• Deliver individual and small group provision and learning activities.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement and progress and encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
