Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Teacher in Wakefield for day-to-day or long-term KS2 cover. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned to the Primary Curriculum and provide SATs support to help pupils build knowledge and confidence for assessments.

Applicants should have QTS (ECTs welcomed), UK primary teaching experience, strong KS2 knowledge, and excellent classroom management with a flexible teaching approach. The role is paid via PAYE through TeacherActive.

Responsibilities

• Teach and deliver engaging lessons in KS2 in line with the Primary Curriculum
• Provide SATs preparation support and guidance for pupils
• Cover day-to-day or long-term teaching duties as required
• Adapt lessons to meet pupil confidence and learning needs
