Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Paralegal to join a specialist Housing Management and Property Litigation team in Birmingham. You will work alongside Solicitors and build your own caseload across a broad range of housing and property litigation matters.

You’ll handle possession proceedings, injunctions, disrepair claims, leaseholder matters, pleadings, witness statements, trial bundles and court documentation, developing strong research and drafting skills while managing a busy workload.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2:2 degree or above.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Ideally LPC or part-time LPC studies.
• Experience in pleadings and witness statements is preferred.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with possession proceedings related to rent arrears, breaches of tenancy and anti-social behaviour.
• Work on injunctions and disrepair claims.
• Handle leaseholder matters including forfeiture.
• Draft claim forms, pleadings and witness statements.
• Prepare trial bundles and manage court paperwork.
