Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a school in Sittingbourne, starting October 2026. You will work across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, and leading whole-class activities as needed.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA experience or qualifications, strong classroom management, and a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience or HLTA qualifications.
• Experience across KS1 and KS2.
• Comfort with 1:1, small groups and whole-class learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply for a new enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities
