Job summary

Supply Heroes is recruiting a History Teacher for a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role covers KS3, KS4 and A-Level history, with start 25 September 2026 and end around 9 November 2026, working full-time to cover a staff absence.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent certification required.
• Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools.
• Proven background delivering A-Level History.

Responsibilities

• Full-time History Teacher position.
• Teaching History across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-Level.
• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging History lessons.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Supporting students in their preparation for examinations.
• Working collaboratively with a successful Humanities department.
