Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified History Teachers to support secondary schools across the Midlands. You will deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities in some schools.

The role offers flexible daily supply, long-term placements or permanent positions through the dedicated Secondary team. We welcome experienced teachers, ECTs and those returning to the profession.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching History within UK secondary schools is expected.
• Strong curriculum and classroom management skills are essential.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging History lessons to UK secondary students.
• Encourage critical thinking, analyse evidence and relate history to modern events.
• Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with Key Stage 5 opportunities in some schools.
• Build positive relationships with local schools and support departments.
