Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a Tower Hamlets primary school, to support early years learners in a warm, inclusive environment.

Role requires Level 2/3 Childcare/EYFS qualifications and an Enhanced DBS. You will assist in classroom activities, provide 1:1 or small-group support, and help develop early literacy, numeracy and social skills through play and targeted activities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
• Experience in EYFS or primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in the EYFS and help create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Promote learning through play-based and structured activities while maintaining safeguarding standards.
