Job summary

Bolton Wanderers Football Club is recruiting an Events Manager for the Conference & Events team at Bolton Stadium Hotel. You will lead the delivery of high quality meetings and events, coordinating with internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless execution.

The role requires energy, strong communication, safeguarding responsibility, and flexibility to work varied hours. DBS disclosure is a condition of employment and you will uphold BWFC standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a hotel or conference venue.
• DBS disclosure is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting and event rooms prior to guest arrival according to specifications.
• Clear rooms after events, ensuring food, beverage, equipment and furniture are stored safely.
• Maintain conferencing standards of presentation and service.
• Liaise with Conference & Events team and other departments for smooth operations.
• Be flexible with working hours to meet unexpected requirements.
• Identify and report maintenance needs or hazards.
• Comply with health and safety and data protection policies, including UK GDPR.
