Qualifications

• Recognised ESOL/TEFL qualification (CELTA/TESOL/PGCE ESOL).
• Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field preferred.
• Experience teaching ESOL to adults in classroom or online settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL lessons to groups of learners E1–E3.
• Design and adapt lesson plans to group dynamics and objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom.
• Use varied teaching methods and materials for different learning styles.
• Monitor progress through group activities, assessments and feedback.
• Encourage peer learning and interaction to aid language acquisition.
• Maintain attendance, progress and learner feedback records.
• Support learners in setting and achieving learning goals.
• Collaborate with trainers and support staff for cohesive delivery.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Stay current with ESOL methodologies and best practices.
• Meet KPI targets related to retention, achievement, and progression.
• Support mission and values of the organisation.
• Contribute to Curriculum Area objectives and Quality Improvement Plan.
