Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in ESOL to deliver ESOL to a range of learners, including international learners, commercial provision, Job Centre Plus and NEET schemes, in various settings from offsite to workplace and vocational environments.

You should hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (or be working towards) and a Level 5 ESOL qualification, plus evidence of GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. FE ESOL experience across diverse settings is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).
• Must provide original certificates of GCSE English and Maths (grade 4 or above).
• Experience teaching in a further education environment, ESOL, in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL to a variety of learners including international learners, Commercial, Job Centre Plus, NEET or similar provision.
• Teach full-time and part-time learners in settings including offsite/workplace/vocational provision.
