Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an English Teacher to join a secondary school in Stone, Staffordshire, starting September 2026. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and initially for one term with a strong possibility of extension.

You will teach English to students across KS3 and KS4 within a supportive English department that values good behaviour and leadership support. QTS or equivalent is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for English Language and Literature.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
• Full-time teaching schedule (Mon–Fri).
• Support a friendly and collaborative English department.
• Monitor student progress and behaviour and adapt teaching strategies.
