Job summary

Aspire People seeks an enthusiastic English teacher with experience in Media to join a Staffordshire Moorlands secondary school from September 2026. The role covers English and Media with KS3/KS4 responsibilities, full-time, Monday through Friday, initially for one term with potential for continuation.

The right candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, bring strong classroom management, and be able to inspire students of diverse abilities.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Experience or confidence teaching Media.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for English, Media and education.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
• A committed, reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and Media at KS3 and KS4 levels in a secondary school.
• Deliver engaging lessons at a Staffordshire Moorlands location.
• Work full-time, Monday to Friday, starting September 2026.
• Support and nurture student progress and behaviour in class.
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive school environment.
