Job summary

ANGLO is recruiting EFL teachers in the UK to plan and deliver high-quality lessons for teenage students using a communicative approach. The role involves collaboration with the teaching team, weekly planning, and delivering inclusive language lessons, excursions, and projects.

Requirements include UK work rights, degree plus TEFL qualification, native or near-native English, and a professional, customer-focused attitude. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• University degree and TEFL qualification or equivalent (e.g. CELTA, CertTESOL, PGCE).
• Native or near-native English fluency.
• Dynamic teaching approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player attitude.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons following the ANGLO syllabus.
• Liaise with the Teaching Manager regarding teaching and student matters.
• Prepare weekly schemes of work and mark student work.
• Complete attendance registers and report absences.
• Follow the Teacher Manual and safeguarding policies.
• Provide timely student feedback and complete academic reports.
• Create engaging, inclusive learning environments across lessons and excursions.
• Support culture learning and project-based activities.
