Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd in Croydon is seeking experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools. You will support children in EYFS, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally in a safe, engaging learning environment.

Requires Level 2/3 EYFS qualification, strong communication, DBS Update Service or willingness to apply, and a commitment to safeguarding. Daily pay between £95 and £110.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years or primary settings.
• Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualification.
• Good understanding of EYFS development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SEN experience desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning through play.
• Support communication, language and social development.
• Work with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Support children with additional learning needs where required.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies.
