Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Design Technology Teachers for secondary teaching opportunities in South Birmingham. We recruit for daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term assignments, with potential permanent opportunities.

Depending on your subject, you could teach KS3 general DT or GCSE courses KS4, and assist with coursework and exams. Ideal candidates will have QTS or QTLS, strong subject knowledge and solid classroom management; experience across multiple DT

Qualifications

• You will need QTS or QTLS, strong subject knowledge within Design Technology and the confidence to deliver effective lessons in a secondary school environment.
• Experience teaching one or more DT disciplines is essential, with good workshop safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Long-term assignments may involve planning, marking, assessment, and supporting pupils with coursework and exams.
• Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 as needed.
